Egg, egg, egg!! Always deal with the egg(s) first! Then it's way easier...

As you can see I spent the first min. dealing with both eggs, then rushed back to send Oatchi in position, after that it's a simple game of collecting more glowing pikmins, which will give me more glow seeds for emergencies later.

I even had time to do some errands for the Day missions such as building pathways, clearing the way (by dealing with the day enemies) and break a wall somewhere...Yes what happened at night will be saved and affect the next day too...
