In this episode, we explore Nigel Kneale's lesser-known work Beasts, a psychological horror drama anthology series with each episode revolving around some form of bestial horror. Some episodes are scarier than others, some not at all, and, while not perfect, it is a series of considerable interest worth sitting down and talking about, and it comes with a couple of truly great episodes.

As a bonus thanks to the episode itself being included as a bonus feature on the DVD, I will also be discussing Murrain, an episode of an earlier ITV anthology series called Against the Crowd, which was also penned by Kneale, and helped him get Beasts off the ground.
