The New Culture Forum | Nigel Farage: Legitimate Views Aren't Hate Speech. We've Lost Something Fundamental of Our Freedom @NewCultureForum | Uploaded June 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
Speaking to our director Peter Whittle, Reform Party Leader Nigel Farage identifies the main issues in the general election. Whilst immigration, housing and the cost of living will be the key issues, he believes that the Reform Party also needs to fight for free speech as "something fundamental about our freedom has been lost"
He said: "14 years of Conservative government & the centre of gravity of all debate has moved to the Left markedly"
On social issues, Nigel says "people who hold legitimate views are in danger of committing hate speech - particularly in Scotland."
"We've been fighting a losing battle."
However, he believes free speech could become "a slight Achilles'" Heel for Labour in the election.
