Character Story: Reborn Sorceress
After returning home for the first time in a long while,
the adolescent girl found that her sickly mother no longer knew her.
However, she still spoke hazily of the love and worries
she harbored for her daughter.
For so long, the girl had thought her mother hated her,
but now she reached out and
gently grasped her the other woman's hand.
And on her birthday, she found herself clad in
a white dress and making her way to the church to
say goodbye to her mom for the last time.
Weapon Story: Divine Staff IV
After getting top marks, the principal gave me an award in front of
the school—an ancient staff that was apparently
created by an archmage of legend.
It is said that the archmage who created the staff placed
their own soul into it by means of
an ancient reincarnation spell available only
to the greatest of magick users.
I knew great magickal and life force would be
required to make the staff obey the caster,
so I began to better myself so I might put it to use.
But when I felt my life force being drained into the staff,
terror gripped my heart. Finally, I returned it to the principal,
who received it with a vexed look on their face.
