Tonight we’re going through a prison phone call where Nicholas Godejohn and others spend quite a bit of time talking about me, Into the Weeds, my FOIA work, the documentary, my YouTube channel and the emails I sent him.
Apparently, Nicholas was receiving my emails after all. So instead of letting other people explain what I supposedly said, we’re going to look at the actual emails, the actual timeline and the actual receipts.
We’ll talk about:
why I originally contacted Nicholas
my prison reform research
the public records and videos I obtained through FOIA
the $50 I sent him
the documentary opportunity
accusations that I was “desperate,” exploiting him or only interested in money
and what was actually said versus what the records show
You don’t have to agree with me, Nicholas, Gypsy, or anybody else involved in this case. But if we’re going to discuss what happened, we might as well have the receipts on the screen.
