Bruce Bilson, assistant director for the first two seasons of The Andy Griffith Show answers a popular question of fans of the show. Who was "nice dress Nellie?" Here is the answer from Mr. Bilson himself. This was during an interview with Neal Brower during his lecture at Mayberry Days in 2015. . Nellie was one of the extras who actually appears in quite a few different episodes.
