This is the second movement of the italian composer's "Suite Popolare Umbra". Niccolò Neri wrote 5 beautiful pieces relating to his origins and representing special traditions from there. This "Aria" with the subtitle "La raccolta delle olive", which is translated as "the olive harvest", immediately caught my heart after playing the first notes. This "Aria" was the reason why I discovered the whole "Suite Popolare Umbra" - and I love all five movements.

Dieses Stück ist der zweite Satz aus der des italienischen Komponisten's "Suite Popolare Umbra". Niccolò Neri schrieb 5 wunderschöne Stücke, die Bezug auf seine Heimat und deren Traditionen nehmen. Diese "Aria" mit dem Untertitel "La raccolte delle olive", was übersetzt bedeutet "Die Olivenernte", habe ich sofort, beim Spielen der ersten Töne, ins Herz geschlossen. Durch dieses Stück bin ich auf die ganze "Suite Popolare Umbra" gestoßen - alle 5 Sätze sind wunderschön!
