This edition of Chefs Like This takes us to Amsterdam, Netherlands where I had the pleasure of dining at Flore at Hotel De L'Europe. Bas van Kranen's brainchild has earned two Michelin stars and one Green star for his expertise in sustainable gastronomy (which is determined by many factors like local sourcing and ethical operations).
The restaurant features a private room, and a "Kitchen Table" with close-up views of the action. The unique menus lists only ingredients, without any dairy, beef, or pork.
Every course was thoughtfully crafted, every flavor had a purpose, and every detail reflected the artistry behind the experience. When food becomes art, you slow down and appreciate every bite.
