The next Space Engineers 2 update is finally giving us more to do! The first version of Mechanical Blocks is coming to the second game. As you can see, Pistons are being tested. These allow Engineers to move various blocks around, create closed doors and more. Don’t worry, Rotors are also coming with this update.
Mechanical Blocks have been rebuilt from the ground up for Space Engineers 2. The goal is to make them “Super stable”, according to the developers. Area Welding has been improved with UI updates for more information.
Of course, Wheels, Hnges, LCDs, Wind Turbines and Combat Improvements are being put into another separate update, VS2.3, so you’ll need to wait longer for those.
We don’t have an exact release date for VS2.2, the next update, at the moment. Still, it seems cool that Space Engineers 2 is getting more to do!
