The Next Best Thing To Robert Redford 🤩 A Creamy Chocolate Dessert Recipe!
This cold and creamy chocolate dessert hides a delicious crunchy cookie crust! This recipe goes by a lot of different names. "NEXT BEST THING TO ROBERT REDFORD" Dessert Recipe
(Recipe adapted from Kim Palmer
“Covered Bridge Cookbook”
Compiled by Roann Covered Bridge Association, Inc. of Roann, Indiana)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup melted butter
1 cup chopped walnuts
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
16 oz. Cool Whip
1 5.1 ounce box instant vanilla pudding
1 5.1 ounce box instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
Mix flour, butter and walnuts; spread on bottom of 9 x13 baking dish. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes at 350°.
Mix together cream cheese, sugar, 1/2 of Cool Whip; spread over cooled crust.
Beat vanilla and chocolate puddings in the milk until firm. Spread over cheese layer.
Spread rest of Cool Whip on top.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts or shaved chocolate.
Enjoy!
