A bill aimed at helping wildfire survivors recover unpaid restitution has unanimously passed the California Senate.
Assembly Bill 2700 would require the California Public Utilities Commission to determine how much money victims of utility-caused wildfires before July 2019 are still owed and recommend ways to fully compensate them.
