Camera was acting up a bit in this video because of the early hours in the morning before sunup and the exposure caused some problems, however, I will put it on and hopefully you will "like and share" it for what it is.....part 2 will be better quality.
The caplin fishery for 2024 in Notre Dame Bay here in leading Tickles you can see fisherpersons putting out the seines and it's just barely daylight! Seine fishing is a method of fishing that employs a surrounding net, called a seine, that hangs vertically in the water with its bottom edge held down by weights and its top edge buoyed by floats. Seine nets can be deployed from the shore as a beach seine, or from a boat as in this video.
