Visiting New York? Here's is the tour you don't want to miss. Visit the Statue of Liberty on Liberty Island, and the National Museum of Immigration on Ellis Island.

Tip: Pedestal and crown tickets are very limited. Unless you purchase a pedestal or crown platform ticket well in advance, you won't be able to access any of these levels. I made it all the way to the crown in a previous visit to the statue, but could not find any tickets this time around.

Check nps.gov/stli/index.htm for additional information the Statue of Liberty National Monument (U.S. National Park Service).
You can start your trip in New York and finish it in New Jersey, and vice versa, if you wish. Or just return to your starting point, your choice.
Once you disembark in Liberty Island and Ellis Island, you may stay there for as long as you want. Whenever you are done with your visit, board the next available ferry boat.
