🚨 Rider Report: Clark Patrick in New York City 🗽🛹
Team rider @clarkpatrick hit the streets of NYC for a mix of art, skating, and good times with friends. Here’s what he had to say about the trip:
🌆 Why did you go to NYC?
I initially drove to NYC to deliver some art for a friend. The City is one of my favorite places to skate so I stayed to spend time with old friends. I ended up pushing all over Manhattan and Williamsburg with Leon, skating random spots but mostly enjoying the nightlife and traffic surfing.
🛹 Why was the Clark/Tony Danza your board of choice for this skate trip?
Both boards are just so easy to skate everything on. It’s like you don’t have to think too hard to tackle even a demanding environment like NYC with either board.
🔥 What was your favorite skate spot on the trip?
Any spot where I can Skitch a taxi for a few blocks. If not that then “Monument” at the bottom of the Willy B Bridge. The plaza has a lot of waxed ledges and little stair sets. Plus you get to bomb the bridge down to it.
🍕 What was your favorite non-skateboarding activity on the trip?
Getting a deli breakfast sandwich and coffee for $6 or getting slices from Patsy’s pizza. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life.
