If I'm being honest I don't very well pay attention to the calendar very much, and certainly not during the holidays, and sure enough, would you have it, new Year came and snuck up on me like a bandit. After finishing a hard day's work I loaded up the truck for the weekend and then realized it was only Thursday, and although Friday is a stat, the adventure never sleeps at mission overland, and that's the way I like it lol. However once night rolled around I started feeling the itch, and once it dawned on me that I would be spending New Year alone indoors I was like..... ya....... no. So we jumped in and fired up the rig and headed out west for a nice snowshoe hike and some winter camping to ring in the new year. New Year, Alone, In the mountains, with my dog...EPIC!!!!!
