Amazon, a 1 trillion dollar company, have made a slightly above average MMO.
I honestly expected more, after all this is the team behind the incredibly successful 'Airport Mania - First Flight HD'.
So let's play and review the brand new MMORPG, New World.
Basically a glorified long term battle royale, 3d runescape, pvp focused area controll game, it's not bad, but it's not changing the genre, it's not doing any single thing better than anyone else.
It's got some nice crafting and gorgeous environmental design, but as for gameplay loops, it feels heavily reliant on players 'making thier own fun' which never, ever bodes well for an MMO.
