I've never seen this before, and it's pretty easy to do without tools. Just throw up the springboard just before mounting Yoshi, and that happens.
Not really useful though, since the 'usual' glitch with Yoshi and springboard is better to break levels than this one.

We organized the first SMW challenge on Discord a few weeks ago, and this is my submission! The challenge involved killing all enemies in VD3, starting small, and without using a Yoshi. Some enemies died ofscreen here, but they did die ;)
