So using the textures I have for WVO and tweaking them a lot, we can now say that Soleanna's ocean is so beautiful! I made it look as close to P-06's ocean as I could but still maintaining the bright colour theme going on for this stage, as well as the basic texture capabilities of SA2; diffuse textures only, no normal/bump maps.
Animating the goal animation took me 3 hours to do believe it or not. I don't know why it's a bit glitchy though, but hey it's much better than what we had previously 😂
Hoppy also added some cool new alternate paths and modelled 2 new cliffs that you can go on!
Thanks to UsagiDood for UV wrapping the models and fixing the topology!
I'll be showing off Tropical Jungle when we have it all done up!

HE DID IT! Hoppy got most of the loops done for Wave ocean and fixed the rails so now you can gain speed while grinding!
Meanwhile, I was busy sorting out Kingdom Valley and its is pretty much almost done. The mach speed section needs more SET objects and tweaking and its ready to be released!
This is a huge glow up from what I showed in January.
Also, why does this look more colourful than the Forces WVO mod and vanilla 06? 😂 It baffles me, like even though SA2 lacks all the fancy graphical effects, our port has more life than those two versions of Wave Ocean!

Its fully textured. Nearly all collisions work perfectly. Welcome to Kingdom Valley in SA2, now with an (almost) seamless transition into the mach speed section!
(I titled this E3 Styled since these parts of the stage were playable in the E3 demo*)
I honestly dont know whether well get WVO and KDV finished in-time for the 29th Anniversary, so this might release after it.

Wait a minute... THIS ISNT A SONIC VIDEO WHAT THE HECK???
This is a quick test to show my progress on bringing the raw, eargasmic transmission sound from the BMW M3 GTR in Nürburgring (2004). The engine sound is from the Realistic Car Sounds mod by AillionAier (https://nfsmods.xyz/mod/3689) with values from a previous project I made that makes this cars engine sound more like the one heard in the trailer for the game (requested by @damongambuti). The high speed tranny whine is what needs working on, but other than that, Im happy with how this sounds!
Now about these sweet, sweet graphics…
Im using the Plak graphics (Designer Edition) made by the geniuses @osdever and @elaymm4. This is one hell of a mod and definitely worth your dough!")
