I'm sure using traps to feed our ranching population will come back to bite us somehow but for now it's working. We have enough Algae incoming to provide oxygen to 100 boops/dupes. Give it 60 cycles until the Lumbs start dying and we can max out the rhex ranches as well. That just leaves Regal Bammoth and Jawbo. But fist Gunk and fertilizer.
