A new Trenchers Fish n Chips restaurant has just opened at Bowness, Windermere in the Lake District last month and I went to find out if it was better than the Trenchers fish n chip restaurant in Whitby? Trenchers in Whitby have just been awarded the best fish n chips restaurant in the UK by the National Fish n Chips Awards 2026 but I was disappointed with my first ever visit to Trenchers in Whitby last year, so decided to call into Trenchers in Windermere to see if there are any better than the UK's best 2026 fish n chips restaurant in Whitby - this is what I found out.
