The Cayo Perico Heist has had a few recent additions from Rockstar Games in the recent Criminal Enterprises DLC for 2022, new races and a new treasure hunt being the main draw card. The Metal Detector is found through a random event, which will eventually lead you to the island to discover all available Buried Stash locations.
