The new Cray tile plow showed up a few days ago, and today Crary came out
to help me get it mounted on the 9570 RT. It's a 7-foot-deep plow with
steerable arms — the plow can actually steer the tractor in tight corners,
which is going to take some getting used to. I've got 4-, 5-, and 6-inch
boots for now, and I'll probably add 8- and 10-inch down the road.
The plan isn't to run a tile crew for hire. This is for our own soil. Midwest
Machinery is bringing SD drain software next week, and then we'll see how
smart I actually am. I've never pulled one of these through the ground myself,
so the next tile video should be entertaining one way or another.
Also caught up on getting the sprayer trailer set up for our post-emerge pass
on corn, coming in a couple of days.
