Take an upgraded look at New Texas Giant, the new-for-2011 hybrid coaster from RMC. This was the very first hybrid coaster from RMC. Originally, The Texas Giant was a record breaking wooden coaster that opened in 1990. RMC completely redid the coaster, using their brand new I-box technology, replacing the old wooden track with a much needed upgrade. This is only one of two RMC coasters that use trains from Gerstlauer. Special thanks to Justin Garvanovic and the staff at Six Flags Over Texas for providing such an upclose look at this machine.
