Ornament & Crime is evolving - Teensy 4.x support is here! A new hardware design is in the works! The future looks bright for this programmable open source Eurorack utility.
All the original firmware apps + Hemisphere are now running natively on Teensy 4.0 and 4.1, which are readily available. The CV inputs are noisy, but I think it's usable! Big thanks to Paul Stoffregen for his contributions to the project! New hardware designs should be released very soon, with improved ADC precision, more I/O, and potential for expansion.

EDIT: I was so focused on making this video that I overlooked the fact that each of the sample chops is actually *8 measures long* and Im only playing the first 4 measures of each... which explains the awkward chord at the end of the final track! I will put more work into the track later, expanding the arrangement to use the original 16-bar chord progression.

Heres how I turned my Raspberry Pi into a DIY sample-based multi-instrument solution for live performance! From 808 drums to synth leads, to fully multi-sampled grand piano, you can play them all with a standard MIDI keyboard. I wanted a way to easily incorporate virtual instruments into my live-looping workflow without running VSTis on a laptop, and SamplerBox was the perfect solution.

Im using the Raspberry Pi 3 (with HiFiBerry DAC+, unused in this video) with an Akai MPKmini mkII and a Focusrite Scarlett sound interface in conjunction with my Kaoss Pad for a standalone live-looping setup - no laptop necessary! This will also work on the Raspberry Pi 4. (Pi 2 may work, but probably not as smoothly... please share your experiences!)
