New Technique Alert! Grab your 3D Embossing Folders and some thin paper such as old book pages, magazines, tissue paper, origami paper, etc., and try this embossed collage technique! What name do you think is best? Embossed Collage or Embossed Paper Piecing, something different??
If you haven't tried Savoy 100% Cotton Letterpress paper with your embossing folders I highly recommend it. Regular cardstock and even Neenah Classic Crest tend to crack while embossing. But, letterpress paper is meant to be pressed, making it perfect for embossing folder techniques. Plus, because it's 100% cotton it can handle water for ink smooshing and other moderately wet media. It's great for ink blending and Zentangle too. So many uses!
