Battlefield 2: Dust ver. 3.1 - Combined Arms.
Just a quick update to let you know that Dust 3.1 is currently in the beta testing phase and, all being well, will be released by the end of this month. Also, thanks to the mod author for allowing me to play the beta test version.

What is the BF2 DUST mod?
DUST is a single-player-only 'hardcore' modification for Battlefield 2 focused on tactical gameplay rather than run n' gun. It features a completely reworked environment based mainly on vanilla BF2 assets. You'll find more detailed information on the DUST mod page.
In brief, Dust 3.1 Combined Arms will include:
- Twelve redux maps.
- New visual and audio effects.
- Three new high-definition aircraft.
- New land vehicles for both factions.
- New handheld weapons and unlocks.
- Numerous other enhancements and upgrades.
New aircraft for Dust 3.1 will be:
- F18
- SU-25 Skorpion
- MiG-29
These aircraft will all come with an HD cockpit including canopy and HUD glass reflections, new custom HUDs, and custom views that enable you to look around in the cockpit using either a joystick 'hat switch' or keystrokes.
Dust 3.1 maps will be:
- Abandoned Town (Upgraded version of "Abandoned Village")
- Airbase (Upgraded version of "Airport")
- Blackhawk (Upgraded version of "Operation Blackhawk Down")
- Factory (as released with Dust 3.0)
- Gulf of Oman (New airbase layout)
- Jalalabad (Upgraded vegetation)
- Janat Alqanaas (With additional dust/smoke effects)
- Kirkuk Oilfields (Remake of the USI mod map)
- Shahr Urmia (Remake of Highway Tampa)
- Sharqi Peninsula (as released with Dust 3.0)
- Strike at Karkand (Upgraded vegetation and building textures)
