For the first time in almost a decade, a new Star Trek movie is currently filming. And now we have some details about which actors will be joining the Star Trek universe on this project. Hi everyone, Eric here for What Did I Miss. And today I have a quick update concerning the upcoming Star Trek Section 31 movie that is set to release on streaming in 2025. We all knew that this project would see the return of Michelle Yeoh as the mirror universe version of Phillipa Georgiou, who was first introduced on the series Star Trek Discovery. But until now that is basically all we knew about the project, with many people wondering if there would be any other actors that would return. Such as Shazad Latif as Ash Tyler, a Klingon Human hybrid with ties to the new ruling family in the Klingon Empire during that time period. So here I am going to cover the press release that Paramount sent out last week about the project which includes the new cast, why I am excited about this cast, and when and where we can expect to see them on screen.
