so, the strat is to make the camera being parallel to the edge, the best way is to do the ledgegrab i did, then you wanna make a small move to the left, pay attention to the camera, it will go down if you're at a position where mario would not be about actual ground anymore. So then do a ground-pound right when the camera goes down, don't wait to long or mario will do a ledgegrab, keep care to not go too far to the left.
