Story time:
Like I already said once, Sky was being attacked by snakes before Mint came to save her. But before that happened, she was a he: Tears, the prince of the foxes, Fox of the Night/Moon Element. The snakes turned him into Sky to make him their slave and to hide him from the other Elements.
The necklace can turn him into Sky anytime, he only needs to take it off to be Tears again.
