We kick in the new year with releasing brand new music! I have been working on new songs and some of the songs are both very emotional and personal. The song "I want to be a better son" is me reflecting of my father getting old and things I could have done different to be a better son. Dad has always been kind and loving. He has always been there for me and my family and always been a help for other people. Now it is so sad to see how he is fading away in alzheimers and I just wish I had done things different as I realize I will never get dad back as the dad he always been. I also reflect on my relationship with my Heavenly Father who also always been there even when I have failed. I failed them both and I just want to be a better son.
The second song "I'm still here" is a reflection about that God has always been near. Even in the darkest of hours, God has been near. I am still here only because of Gods love, mercy and amazing grace!
These two songs are released January 16th digitally by Talking Music. The full album Gospel Express will be released end of March / early April this year. I am thankful for the musicians working with me on my 20th album!
