The first step to making new designs for most of my resin work is to create the acrylic blank so that I can make a silicone mold with it. For this step, I use my laser cutter and a sheet of acrylic. My laser will cut out the design I created on my iPad. Then, I’ll glue all the pieces together for make the acrylic blank. With that, we can then pour silicone into this to make the mold.
