Good morning BookTube! I wanted to share a new book coming out tomorrow, October 1, 2024. It is called Globetrotter: How Abe Saperstein Shook Up the World of Sports by Mark Jacob and Matthew Jacob. I read this book this last summer and it was a great look into the early history of basketball. It focused on Abe Saperstein and his role in developing the Globetrotters basketball team, but also touched on his role in all of sports especially African American sports.
