The lovely @allieglines launched her own makeup brand, Ravie Beauty, with a sheer, hydrating lipstick formula called the Effortless Lips!
Shades:
Effortless Lips launched with three shades, and all three are colors I adore and wear regularly:
Lily is a GREAT nude. It’s like a fleshy peachy pink - light enough on my skin that it looks like a nude, but it has a bit of pink and peach so it still adds life to the lips.
Dahlia is a rosy shade developed to mimic Allie’s natural lip color. This one is my favorite if I had to pick just one (duh.) It’s the perfect my lips but better shade on my complexion.
Tulip is a gorgeous pinky red shade that brightens the complexion
Formula:
The formula is lovely and lightweight. It’s thin and barely feels like anything on your lips, without being slippery. This is one of my favorite lightweight formulas, and I think the product is perfectly named. “Effortless lips” is a great way to describe them because the pigment is sheer but buildable, and the formula feels barely-there. It’s the kind of product you can pop on without a mirror.
Scent:
Effortless Lips has a delicious, subtle vanilla scent that I adore. Yum.
Packaging:
LOVE the slim bullet because I have thinner lips so it’s easier for me to get a precise application!
Price:
These are $22 each or you can get the trio for $60.
Random detail I love:
The website is REALLY thoughtful. Of course, an experienced beauty connoisseur and creator like Allie would have the attention to detail to add videos on the site applying and talking through each shade. That’s something I wish all brands did so we can see the color on, not just a digital swatch.
Who this product is for:
Someone who wants a lightweight lipstick with a subtle vanilla scent with a semi-sheer pop of color.
Who this product is not for:
Someone who wants bold pigment and an unscented product.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing women pursue their dreams. I think this brand and initial product offering makes so much sense for Allie and I’m stoked to see what she creates next.
