I am trying to work out a way to display more of my Kickstarter stuff instead of it disappearing under a bed. I need it to be free standing in an existing room and I would love to show off my light up lava base which is 3' high to Vader's Castle top and 7' by 3' on the base. The room already has a tonne of stuff in there!
After much discussion on tables v desks, I realised I needed a bespoke Mecanno style affair so I am thinking slotted steel angle for the basic construction and going floor to ceiling with many layers to get as much in the real estate as possible. There will be many levels and sub levels all cantilevered off the supports.
This may be the next Livestream project as it exciting me to find a home for my models and do some actual design and modelling for it to boot!
