Fluid art inspirational video! What an interesting week in the studio! I’ve been a little indecisive trying some different things for an upcoming painting. I’m obsessed with MMG pouring medium. It dries clear than floatrol and is archival. Not all pouring medium behave properly for Pearl basecoat, however this one is perfect! I think it’s a great alternative in my pearl recipe, especially the translucent recipe because it dried so clear!
MMG Translucent Pearl Basecoat;
(Based on volume not weight)
1 part MMG pouring medium
1 part Behr 7300
.25 part GAC800 or Golden pouring medium
.25 part Liquitex pouring medium
(Optional) A few drops Zinsser water based paint booster
