So this one is weird, it's basically just the bike theme with a different leading instrument. It can be found in the SW99 ROM, but curiously it's in the slot for the Kimono Girl encounter theme music, whereas the actual bike theme is present in its correct place and is final. So who knows what this is about. Is it even notable? It was strikingly different when I first heard it but I feel desensitized to the difference now, haha.
Yes, there's the snare at the beginning. I don't feel like putting the extra effort to record the SW99 tracks without it.
Also! Check out that sweet fade out at the end! Took me long enough to start doing that, eh?

Yes, this is GBA music! To clarify a little, GBA doesnt have any supplementary audio hardware besides the four Game Boy channels and two direct channels. This means games generate music in software. Nintendo supplied a sound driver which by my count about 70% of games used. What you see here is a representation of the sound drivers internal tracks alongside the Game Boy channels. (The red and yellow-ish channels are Game Boy channels). The audio is mixed with a much higher quality than the GBA driver performs.
This was made possible with the awesome music player, agbplay by ipatix, who implemented individual track export for me: https://github.com/ipatix/agbplay
Visualization (oscilloscope view) was done with Sidwiz 2 by CapteinKuK and RushJet1.

More experimentation. I fixed it so that C is red and the hues continue across the octave.
Music from Keitai Denjuu Telefang, composed by Kinuyo Yamashita.
Sound recorded from bgb.
