Loving @PersonaCosmetics new super blush shade! Jam is a gorgeous cool-toned berry that’s perfect for the cooler months. I feel like Persona’s cream blushes get all the hype but their Super Blush formula is seriously underrated.
I’m a powder blush girl through and through because my face eats cream blush, and since my skin gets oily throughout my t-zone, I like powder blush to help control the shine.
The Super Blush formula has a tiny amount of super fine shimmer that isn’t detectable on the skin, but you can see it on my finger swatch. That addition of sheen makes the powder formula look so skin-like on the skin. Never chalky, dusty, or glitter.
Compared to the shade Bubble, Jam is definitely darker and has more pigment, so it’ll show up better on deeper skin tones. I used the fluffiest brush I own, tapped off the excess, and still had to take down the blush with my foundation brush. Next time, I would barely tap into the pan, swirl the brush on my hand, and then I think I’ll have the sheer application that I love.
I’m so excited to see Persona expand this shade range, since Super Blush is one of my favorite powder formulas. I’m reeeealllyyyy interested in trying Caramel next because I’m looking for a natural, skin-like powder blush.
I’m also wearing their Daymask peptide lip balm in pomegranate, which is a gorgeous deep pomegranate shade I can’t stop reaching for. For a review of the formula, scroll back on my feed to see me apply all three shades.
