Sometimes, you have to buy your own Christmas present....lol

Ever since I got my Visconti, I've wanted to try more Italian made fountain pens. I scratched that itch with this new beauty, the Montegrappa Elmo 02 and I chose the gorgeous Cover Sea Green color that just cannot be photographed or videoed well enough for its true magnificence to show.

I might purchase a medium nib down the road to try, as the fine nib is very fine - but it may also be that the ink I'm trying in it, the Colorverse MS Alligator, is dry. I'll try another, wetter ink next month and see how that goes.
