In this class I really wanted to explore the idea of recycling brown bags, brown paper packaging, and all things brown. One reason is because I'm a brown girl -- HAAAY!!! In more than one way! And there is a long & tough history of brown bags being a test of worth in the African American / Black communities. I wanted to reclaim the "worthiness" of ME & my people through this self-expression.
The other reason is because we humans need to do better with the amount of trash we accumulate. So this is my contribution to lessening the footprint. Let's turn TRASH into TREASURE.
I hope you will join me in this humble exploration with the color brown. Here are some perks of the class:
1. Over 7 hrs of content.
2. Make 3 handmade journals (only 2 pictured).
