NEW MW2 Twitch Drop Rewards for CDL Major 3! (CDL Major 3 Viewership Rewards)
This morning the CDL website was updated to show the new viewership rewards that will be available for Major 3 qualifiers as well as the actual major 3 event itself.
Now i’ve got to admit the rewards this time are kind of rubbish which is pretty disappointing to see but i just wanted to let you all know about it anyway.
Starting from today until the final day of the Major 3 Event on the 12th of March PST there are 7 different lots of 30 minute double xp and double weapon xp Tokens to earn for every 2 hours of a Call of Duty Stream you watch live on twitch.
Then once the Major 3 event starts on the 9th of March the Daily rewards will be available.
So on the 9th you’ll unlock a 60 minute double xp and 60 minute double weapon xp after watching for an hour and after watching for an hour and a half you’ll unlock the Smoked Em Calling card.
On the 10th you’ll unlock a 60 minute double xp and 60 minute double weapon xp token after watching for an hour, the Reverse Sweep calling card after watching for an hour and a half and after 2 hours you’ll unlock the Ninja Defuse Emblem
On the 11th again after watching for an hour you’ll get a 60 minute double xp and double weapon xp token, after an hour and a half you’ll unlock the baited calling card and after 2 hours there is the S&D Star Emblem.
Then finally on the 12th there is the Big Tex Emblem & the Ride ‘em calling card after an hour, a 60 minute double xp and double weapon xp token after watching for an hour and a half and the Round 11 Star Emblem after watching for 2 hours.
I’m sure most of you already will but as a reminder in order to be eligible for these rewards you first need to make sure that your twitch account is linked with your call of duty one.
So to do that you need to obviously log in to your call of duty account, Click on your name along the top right and go to linked accounts then from here scroll down to the bottom and click on link next to the twitch icon, you’ll just need to log in to your twitch account here and it then link your accounts together.
Then after you’ve watched for the correct amount of time on the right day you’ll get notification from twitch showing that you’ve unlocked the reward, click on that and then click on claim item and will be unlocked for you the next time you boot up your game.
