☕ MMO/RPG Gaming Updates: News and Commentary 37! First, some news about new MMORPGs that are being developed right now and some are bigger than others. Early last year, we had an MMO being created with blockchaining technology in mind called, Ember Sword. Now we have a new contender called Nine Chronicles that also used blockchaining technology, but also utilizes peer-to-peer technology (eliminating the need for servers), as well as open source modification features.
Another MMO being developed is called The Day Before, and this game is going to resemble a mixture of The Division and The Last of Us. It’s a beautiful looking survival MMO with PvP, crafting, shooting, and of course, surviving. In a lot of ways, some of its UI elements resemble Escape from Turkov.
Kingdoms in Chaos is another MMORPG with a style that resembles closer to Minecraft. It will be more for the hardcore audience, as its main focus is going to be PvP, including in the open-world. Kind of an odd combination if you think about it - simple graphics that usually caters towards a younger demographic, but at the same time, gameplay that caters towards a hardcore democraphic.
