New Mexico: Early Voting @nminfocus

This year's election is the state's first semi-open primary. It allows independent voters to cast a ballot in either the Republican or Democratic primaries without changing their affiliation. While the option isn’t available to minor party voters, same-day registration allows them to register as independents, opening the door for them to vote in the primary.
