Before I get to the next Tower Defense video I thought I'd upload a video on the new Eastwood map for Battlefield 6. Is it the best map in Battlefield 6? No, I don't know what ai bot generated that article but if I had to guess it was based on scraping Youtube videos of content creators that gave way too overly positive initial impressions from that preview event. Because to me it seems to be quite similar to Blackwell Fields in that it's a very flat or open map with a lot of temporary cover. Meaning once all that cover is gone it becomes an annoying map to play on. The uncap/main spawns are pointblank so that safe space invulnerable bubble that vehicles can hide in lets them shoot across the map and at objectives from. Other than that it also has the same problem Blackwell Fields has which is the RAM/MRAP vehicle aka the armored tank transport. That vehicle is a mistake and should not have been added to the game. If that is the direction they are going with new vehicles they are adding it doesn't look good for this game's lifespan. Anyways here are a few moments on the new map, sorry some of it was recorded at a lower resolution because the game still launched at 720p even though it's set to launch at a higher resolution in the config, I tried to fix it as best I could.
Still feels like lighting hasn't been fixed on maps or maybe that patch/update still hasn't been made live. Hard to tell since they don't include so many stealth changes and nerfs in the updates. I wonder if they'll ever fix the 44 magnum and it's ammo reload issue eating ammo.
