A new Adversary Mode called Mansion Raid is now available in GTA Online. In this video, you will see gameplay for playing as both Attackers and Defenders. The mode pits Eberhard Security against Merryweather Security, two prominent private security companies in the GTA HD universe. In this mode, the attackers must make their way through The Vinewood Residence mansion, reach the underground vault, steal the gold and deliver it to the evac vehicle outside within the given time (5 minutes). The defenders must stop the attackers from progressing by planting explosives at security panels and detonating them within the given time. The attackers have limited lives (10 lives) for each stage (lives are replenished for each stage cleared) and limited time of 5 minutes (+30 seconds for each stage cleared). The defenders have unlimited lives and can disarm any armed explosives. There are weapon and armor pickups available throughout the map. There are 2 security panels to destroy/defend in each stage. In the last stage, the attacker carrying the gold will have slowed movement and will be marked on the map.
The game mode is giving out double GTA$ & RP payouts during the current event week (January 15 to January 21, 2026). You can also earn an additional $200,000 bonus cash for winning a match this week (the money will be given within 72 hours of completion). There are 2 new platinum awards associated with the game mode: Mansion Raid (Win Mansion Raid as both Attackers and Defenders) and Bomb Squad (Defuse or plant at 10 bomb sites during Mansion Raid).
