Students training to become paramedics at Luzerne County Community College will have access to new financial assistance beginning this fall.

LCCC announced the creation of the Olsen Family Endowment Scholarship, established by Stuart Olsen and Christina Hogrebe to help students pursuing careers as paramedics.

The first scholarship will be awarded in fall 2026 and will provide the recipient with $750 per semester for three semesters, totaling $2,250 while completing LCCC's Paramedic Program.
