In this Jedi Survivor news update video we discuss a recent argument that has surfaced that suggests Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will prove that the Prequel Trilogy has always belonged in Star Wars. The argument implies that up until now Star Wars content has not been able to adequately prove that the Prequels belong in Star Wars Canon but Jedi Survivor will change that. The argument claims that Jedi Survivor blending elements of the Prequel Trilogy (B1 Battle Droids, B2 Super Battle Droids, Commando Droids, Coruscant, etc) with the classic Star Wars Original Trilogy Galactic Empire era will finally prove that the Prequels belong in Star Wars. Obviously this argument is ridiculous and we present multiple counterpoints to this argument and why the Prequels have always belonged in Star Wars.
We are excited for elements of the Prequel Trilogy to return to Star Wars and we can’t wait to see what other familiar Prequel Trilogy content we will see in Jedi Survivor. Hopefully we will get a new Jedi Survivor gameplay trailer soon that shows us more Prequel Trilogy content for now we will have to work with the current gameplay trailer we have. The new gameplay trailer provided us great insight into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. We finally discovered who the person in the bacta tank: a former Jedi from the High Republic Era who appears to serve as the main villain of Jedi Survivor. We got our first look at new gameplay including the new lightsaber fighting styles and new force abilities. We also got our first look at the new planets and locations in the game and how much larger and more populated they are compared to the planets and locations in Jedi Fallen Order.
