In this Jedi Survivor news update video we do a complete and total breakdown of the new lightsaber combat gameplay from the most recent Jedi Survivor gameplay trailer. Through our analysis we have actually uncovered some very exciting and groundbreaking features for how lightsaber combat will work in Jedi Survivor. It appears that the lightsaber in Jedi Survivor is modular and very customizable. It looks like players will be able to seamlessly transition between the 5 different forms of combat in the game without having to go into a menu or pause the game to do so. In the heat of battle, players will be able to toggle between the 5 different lightsaber combat forms to fit the play style that they prefer and match the type of enemy that they are fighting. Although this system is not yet confirmed, it is very prevalent throughout the brand new trailer.
The new gameplay trailer provided us great insight into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. We finally discovered who the person in the bacta tank: a former Jedi from the High Republic Era who appears to serve as the main villain of Jedi Survivor. We got our first look at new gameplay including the new lightsaber fighting styles and new force abilities. We also got our first look at the new planets and locations in the game and how much larger and more populated they are compared to the planets and locations in Jedi Fallen Order.
