After almost 2 years of using the same intro, I finally made a new one! This will be at the start of most of my videos for a while. Enjoy!
The old intro has a really complicated story behind it. I built it and filmed it, but the video I took of it would not import on my computer. I had to screen-record it to get it on my computer. If anyone was wondering why it says "Bandicam" (that's my screen-recorder) at the top of my intro screen, that's why. Near the end of 2019, I did get it on the computer, and it worked for a couple of videos, but after a while, the sound of the video got really laggy for some strange reason. I had to resort to the low-quality screen-recorded video until I made this.
This is basically just a revised version of my last intro, but I made the following changes and improvements:
1. I made sure it fell perfectly.
My last intro had a slight impurity, where part of the top field fell when it wasn't supposed to. It didn't really take anything away from the planned falldown, so I just went with it. Still, I have been trying to cut down on fails lately, and since this will be at the beginning of most of my videos for a long time, I wanted it to fall right. It actually did fail once, but I reset it and tried again, and it worked perfectly.
2. I didn't mix the colors together.
In the last intro, I mixed different shades of the same color together, and it made the "REACTIONS" field kind of hard to read. This time, I did not mix the green with teal or purple with lavender, which made it much easier to read. I also made the text in that field blue instead of purple, and I like the turnout!
3. I changed the "99" field.
I wanted the intro to be slightly different from the other one, or it might be uninteresting. So, instead of making the 99 a regular field, I made it a crossfield! I also built it out of H5 dominoes.
Overall, I think these changes have made this intro much better than the other one, and I'm excited to use it in future videos! this is also my 100th video! I can't even believe that I have posted one hundred videos on my channel, and there's much more to come! Probably tomorrow, I'm going to post a machine that I've been working on for a long time. It will be my best one yet, so stay tuned!
