Amani Burnham never bothered with a plectrum, instead preferring to pluck with his thumb since taking up the guitar at 15 and immersing himself in the blues of Elmore James and Buddy Guy. Today, he’s applying his own take to the styles of old-school blues along with Hendrix, Trower, and SRV.
