I’m posting a YouTube video later today with more detailed thoughts on the Huda Beauty Faux Filler Lip Glosses, but here’s a quick review!
Weirdly, I have to group these into four different categories because I have four different experiences within the shades and I have no idea if anyone else feels similarly.
Glassy:
Glassy, the clear shade, feels completely different from the rest of the glosses. Glassy is AWESOME, it’s thick, cushiony, and has great grip without being sticky. It totally provides a glass-like, smoothing shine. My favorite kind of formula.
All of the glosses with pigment feels MUCH thinner, have more of a slippery oily feeling to them, and have slightly uneven pigment.
Sugar Baby and Honey:
Too light and milky, you’d need a lip liner with these and they give you that dreaded white ring around your lips.
Bombshell, Foxy, and Posh:
The best performing out of the glosses with pigment. The pigment is smooth and even and they don’t look too milky on the lips.
Coco:
On my skin, coco is a bit patchy, but if you have deep skin it probably looks great on you.
Overall, I don’t love the inconsistency in this range, but I ADORE Glassy and I’m keeping it in my collection. If all of the shades felt and looked like Glassy, I would love this collection.
